Hi Guys,
We have identified what the issue is here, I've passed all the details through to our Engineering team who will be looking to get a fix in place shortly.
Thanks for all the feedback, in the meantime I recommend trying to save the document by right clicking and selecting 'Save Link As' rather than doing this through our Web Browser Plugin.
Thanks for your patience,
Alex

Hi Allison,
I'd really like to look into this more with you and see if we can identify what the issue is.
I have a couple of questions for you to help identify and resolve this one.
1. How were these documents created that are displaying this error ?
2. To help me identify the cause, it would be great if you could submit a file showing these symptoms.
Please address this to myself and include this threads subject in the message field when submitting
3. Are you able to download this document, make changes, and save it ?
4. What version of Nitro Pro or Nitro Reader are you currently using ?
Cheers

The documents which I am getting this error on are created using DocuSign, an online programs used to electronically sign documents.
I am able to download the document, make changes and resave. It only seems to be happening when we are working with the documents from DocuSign.
I have Nitro Reader 2 (free verison) installed.
I am going to be submitting you a file shortly. -

Alex - today I am unable to recreate the issues I have been having for the last couple of days. Not sure if there was an update with Nitro that I needed to install or there was an issue with the program we use DocuSign but everything is working fine today.
Thanks for you help. If I do see this problem come about again I will repost.
Thanks for your help. -

Hi Allison,
Its great to hear your up and running ok, let me know if this re-occurs however.
If it reoccurs, It would be great if you are able to provide a sample file we can use to replicate on our end. This will help our engineering team really drill down and isolate the issue and ensure we can fix it on our end if it is a fault in our software.
Many thanks,

I posted I am having the same problem a few minutes ago. Then I tried to just Save instead of Save As and it saved. So I guess that will work for me.
I thought I'd download the latest version of Nitro 7.2, I have 7.0. I will try that too to find out if I can do a Save As.
Thanks.-
Hi Jean,
Interested to know how you go, if you are able it would be great if you could submit the file so I can look into what could be causing the issue.

I am also having the Bad Parameter message on documents created by DocuSign. When Nitro brings up the .pdf file and I try to do a save as to a different file name, that is when I get Bad Parameter.
I tried saving it as a flattened file also but that didn't work either.
I can't send you the file because I can't save it.
It is strange because i just started having this problem within the last couple weeks. The same problem is on two computers.
The only way I can get around this is to print the document then scan it and email it to myself.
Any suggestions?

I am trying to save the PDF after I download the document from docusign. I cannot send you the file because the "bad parameter" error message wont allow me to save the file.

I cannot save PDF files out of docusign. It is giving me a "bad parameter" error message. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
