PrimoPDF printing issue
I am having trouble in printing the Documents into PDF using PrimoPDF. This app worked fine around a week or too back. When I click on print functionality the PrimoPDF app is detected and takes me to the setting screen where I can find the button to "Create PDF". When I click on the “Create PDF” button, No event or action takes place. Is it a bug in the app or incompatibility?

1Try selecting Specific folder in the Save as drop down menu and then click on Create PDF. See if that helps.-

Hi Binh Pham
I had the same issue and it did solve it for me. But how can ik get it back to work normally, so I can select where I want to save it to?
Thanks
Michael-
Once it is working again, you can set it back to 'Ask when creating PDF'. I believe the issue is caused when a user saves their PDF file to a network drive. (Our development team is aware of this and a fix is on the way for the next update)

I saved a document to an external HDD and this problem started. Now I used this option and it's working saving to a specific folder. Now I tried the "Ask when Creating PDF" option again and it's working fine again.
Thanks!

I can tell you my problem was that i had saved to a network drive. When I picked a specific location it came up with that drive. I changed it back to a local drive and saved a file and it is now fine.
Thanks for having this support area! -

Just found this solution to a problem that came very close to getting me to change to another PDF creation tool. I think a lot of people would like to see this network folder fix in an update soon :) Great application though and forum appreciated.

I have never saved to a network and have the same problem. The suggestion above did, finally, enable me to print, but I would really like to be able to choose the destination folder. Is a fix coming soon?

There are no scheduled releases for the remaining of the year but a fix will be out sometime next year. You should still be able to choose your destination folder as long as it isn't a network drive.

Hello,
I just installed the latest primopdf creator from the website, and I am having a number of issues. I am running windows 7 on a fujitsu brand intel core i5 blahblahblah. I have already given the program administrator access across all accounts.
Issue one - I can not get the program to create anything. When I drag and drop, the program pops up, but gives me no save options (the save as part of the screen is greyed out and says ask when creating pdf). When I go to the print screen, the primopdf program is available, but when I press print after selecting it, it says it is printing, but the print job does not go to the spooler. The loading cursor appears, but nothing happens. I can't even choose where to save the file. If it is being printed, it is not being printed as a .pdf because I searched them all on my computer and I can't find it.
Issue two - I can no longer open jpeg files by double clicking them. I get a loading cursor to appear then nothing happens.
Any help appreciated.

Have successfully used Primo for years. Suddenly I can't convert a file by using print as Primo. Have tried re-loading Primo but that doesn't correct the problem. Help

I use primo pdf alot for my work and it has just stopped working! I blame the Nitro advert which has appeared on the right of my print option page.
I have rung my helpdesk and they have even tried to download and reinstall for me, (as if I didnt try that) but it still wont work and the Nitro programme has overrun my computer and converted all existing primo files to Nitro. I am so not happy!

PrimoPDF used to work, but now it does not.
When I open a PDF file with Acrobat Reader and print to PrimoPDF, it creates a xxx.ps file instead of a PDF file. I cannot open the resulting file with Acrobat or Nitro PDF Reader. Also, if I try to drag the file onto the Primo Short-cut on my Desktop, I get this message: "No application is associated with the specified file for this operation."
After reading some other folks previous problems, I tried deleting my Microsoft.Net 1.1 and installed Framework 4, but I got the same results. Any suggestions?

When I try to print to pdf I get a "bonk" sound (no pop-up) and it doesn't print. If I close all browsers except the document I want to print to pdf, it usually works, but not always. Sometimes I actually have to re-boot my PC! Really frustrating! Anybody have a clue?

When I tried to print a partial PDF-document to PrimoPDF the computer hanged completely and I had to pull out the mains cord to be able to restart it.

your bosses should be informed about these eventualities, if the company desires to do good work. Such invaluable feedback is not available elsewhere.
People have no time to fiddle with your pdf creator , yet they are interested in keeping faith inyour product just like me. I downloaded and I got opened an interface which doesnot have any relevance to printing a pdf sheet. -
