PDF to MS Word Image Conversion improvement

When converting from PDF to MS Word, my technical document contains embedded images (message sequence diagrams, state transition diagrams and the like) ... Nitro PDF converts these images excellently, however any text in the images is written as in-line text into the document.

It would be considerably better if this text was embedded as text boxes into the converted image (as would be the case when drawing these diagrams from scratch).

At the moment, I have to remove the text, and re-enter it by hand ... which is a long and laborious process.

    Hi Nick,

    In the Nitro options, you can select from one of three methods of conversion. It sounds like the types of documents you are wishing to convert would be better converted using our "precise layout" conversion engine - see the screenshot below for an example and please let me know if this converts your embedded images any better.

    For the best results you may need to convert once using the precise layout to get your technical images, and once using the default engine for the major text content - however combining the two outputs should be a lot less time intensive than recreating the text from scratch.

    That's a perfect work around ...

    Just a thought but wouldn't it be useful, since you can detect the images, to add the option to "Precise layout text in Images using Text Boxes" with the other conversion types?
