Not able to Highlight in NitroReader2 on Windows 2007

I had NitroReader2 on my old desktop with Windows XP and the highlight function worked fine. I have a new desktop, my IT DEpt installed NitroReader 2 with Windows 2007 and my highlighting function will not work. I read that there is a 64 bit version for windows 7. How can I tell if that is what is installed? If I don't have the 64-bit version is that why highlighting is not working?
