I’m frustrated

Open e-books with LifeCycle Security

I have recently started an on-line course the book for the course is a password protected e-book. Each time I open the book I'm required to enter my password. My default program is Nitro, however every time I open the document, I must switch to Adode. Ok I have use the Microsoft setup where I can ensure it opens with Adobe however my thinking is Nitro should have this capability. (Don't ya think??.)

When opening the file with Nitro I get the response “The security plug-in command is unavailable”.
This is an indication the functionality is missing from Nitro.
Please see the attached files for additional information.

I am also attaching information I could find regarding my investigation (from the internet) on what a security plug-in is.

Thanks again for posting this. Seeing the additional details, I can tell you we won't be able to open this document. The reason being it's LifeCycle Security that is preventing you from opening the document.

This is a proprietary security service by Adobe. I would suggest using Adobe to open the file.

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps somewhere in the future a concept can be implemented to over take this short coming.
