I have the exact same experience - remodelling house, getting PDF's from architect, found the measuring tools in X-change viewer to be incredibly useful.

Is there any way to add dimensions to a PDF, or use it to scale items in the document like you can in Adobe?

Do you have an add in where we can measure construction plans? In Adobe professional it is possible and because we are a construction company we would like to have this possibility. What are the costs for it?

You currently have as a client one of Canada's biggest engineering consulting firms. I'd like to echo the request for measuring tools on .pdfs. I'm being driven to another PDF viewer by the lack of this simple feature. Even rulers at the margins of the document would be more helpful then what's available in the program at the moment.

Which of your PDF products can measure. I have a lot of AutoCAD drawings sent via PDF and paying for the full version of Adobe is way too expensive!!

The grid is a nice tool to measure positions and dimensions of objects in the document, however it does not have numbers to indicate which line belong to what distance / absolute position. Other PDF readers have (toggle-able) rulers on the horizontal and vertical sides of the paper for this purpose (and some of them even a continuously updated position indicator (coordinates) in the status bar).

Would be nice if Nitro PDF Reader could get this additional tool as well!

It would be nice to be able to meassure distances in Nitro Pro. I often get CAD printouts without dimensions. Foxit has such a tool, but it's not really good.

We are looking for a meassurment tool in Nitro PDF too, because we are a contruction company and it would be very usefull for us. We like the Nitro PDF most of all other PDF viewers. Please create such a tool and we will also pay for it.

I agree, I would be happy to pay for this addition.
