importing trasnparent signature?

hi, great viewer, just one thing: upon stamping a pdf file with a signature, although the source file is a transparent gif, it comes out on a white backroung. is there a workaround? thanks

Resolution
We have resolved this issue in Nitro Pro and Nitro Reader, if you would like to confirm this you are able to download both through the links provided below.

We will be releasing this version shortly through our update manager found under help soon, but for now you will need to download and install ontop of your current installation using the links below.

Hi Boyan,

When you create a new Stamp Signature profile, Nitro Reader will automatically add the transparency to your signature. Could you try importing a signature that doesn't already use transparency to see what the result is?

Just upgraded to latest version of nitro, but am still getting this problem too.
(a GIF image with a transparent background becomes a white background when double-clicked to confirm at the place of insertion).

The original posting by Boyan was 8 months ago, and it hasn't been fixed i nthe latest release. How do I make it work?

Using Nitro Pro 7, I also have the problem with the non-transparent GIF signatures, whereas I did not have this problem with Nitro 6.

I also have this problem with Nitro Pro (7.0.1.5). Would really like a fix. Right now I have to convert PDFs to word, use office to sign them, then re-save to PDF. Nitro 6 worked fine in this regard. A solution would be nice.

Hello - I am experiencing the same thing with a transparent png signature - the background becomes white. I converted it to a BMP and it works fine.

I use Nitro Pro Reader 2.1.1.4. Will the fix mentioned also be available in the free version?

BTW, you guys rock! I only discovered you 1 month ago and you have a first rate product in a sea of shoddy competitors. If I needed the advanced features (I likely will in the future) I would buy.
