I have tried to activate Nitro Pro 6 and 7 using the standard method however it didn't work.
Are there other methods I can use to activate Nitro Pro?

How to activate your license (automatically via a proxy server)
If you connect to the Internet through a proxy server, then you may need to configure your proxy settings to successfully complete the activation process. Follow these steps to activate via a proxy server:
1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
2. On the Help ribbon, in the Product group, click About
3. Click Activation
4. Click the Activate Nitro PDF Pro option, and then click Next
5. On the Activate Nitro PDF Pro dialog, click Proxy settings
6. Enter your proxy settings, and then click Close
7. Click Activate to complete the process.
How to activate your license (manually)
For users receiving "unknown error" message.
- This is generally caused by an anti-virus or firewall application blocking Nitro Pro from accessing your Internet connection to sync with our activation servers.
1. Open Nitro PDF Pro.
2. On the Help ribbon, in the Product group, click About.
3. Click Activation.
4. Click the Activate Nitro PDF Pro option, and then click Next.
5. On the Activate Nitro PDF Pro dialog, enter your serial number, then click Activate manually via a web browser.
6. Make a copy of the installation ID and serial number.
7. On an Internet-enabled computer, open a web browser, and then go to our manual activation webpage
8. Enter your installation ID and serial number, and then click Generate/Unlock Code/Certificate.
9. Copy the newly generated activation certificate.
10. On the Activate Manually dialog, paste in the activation code and click Activate to complete the process.

For activating on a machine without Internet connection
On computer 1
1. Open Nitro PDF Pro
2. On the Help ribbon, in the Product group, click About
3. Click Activation
4. Click the Activate Nitro PDF Pro option, and then click Next
5. On the Activate Nitro PDF Pro dialog, enter your serial number, then click Activate manually via a web browser
6. Make a copy of the installation ID and serial number
On computer 2
1. On an Internet-enabled computer, open a web browser, and then go to our manual activation webpage
2. Enter your installation ID and serial number, and then click Generate/Unlock Code/Certificate
3. Copy the newly generated activation certificate so you can transfer it back to the computer on which Nitro Pro is installed
On computer 1
1. Transfer the activation code back to the computer on which Nitro Pro is being activated.
2. On the Activate Manually dialog, paste in the activation code and click Activate to complete the process.

When I go to the Help pulldown and click on About, I get a window that says what version I'm running and a button that says "activate". However, when I click on the "activate" button, I get another window that has instructions to "de-activate". I don't get a window with instructions on how to "activate". If I've accidentally already "activated" myself, why doesn't the button on the About window say "deactivate" instead of "activate"? -
