Black areas printing that cover up page

Edit Subject

When printing there are large black areas that cover up what's on the page. Everything looks good when viewing the page. Also, the documents prints fine when using Adobe Reader 9. Attached is a scanned image of what printed when using NitroPDF and when using Adobe Reader 9.

I am having the same issue. I tried printing a PDF from Nitro PDF on an HP LaserJet P2050 and had the same result, but when printed through Adobe Reader it printed just fine. I hope we get an answer soon.

I just sent a file to your Dropbox. Again, we only encounter the problem with two HP 2025 printers, but not for instance with a HP 4700.

Good luck, hope to get a solution soon, would hate to have to install the evil Adobe Reader on the machines affected.

  Can you let me know what your operating system is and also can you scan that blacked out document and upload it here so I can pass that onto our developers so they know what to expect and confirm for me if it blacks out on all the pages or just specific pages.

  Just sent the scanned print-out. It happens with Win7 (64b) as well as WinXP (32b), so it seems with all Windows'.

  I'm sorry I have not been able to send a sample document over. I have it at the office and will not be back in there until Tuesday. The PDF I printed was 7 pages, and it had large black areas on every page. I was working in XP. On my sheets, it had one big black box that took up probably 1/3 of the page, positioned toward one corner... if that makes any sense.

When printing certain files (to an HP color laserjet CP2025DN), I get most of the page colored in solid black. This does not happen when printing the same files from Adobe Reader. I have uploaded an example file.

Since I update my Nitro PDF Reader to the latest version I am encountering a problem when I try to Print a PDF file the output is totally Black I mean the page is without text only the color is black almost 95% of the page I have attached a scanned copy of the printed page for you my information is below:

FYI - I have an HP Lasar JetCP2025. Many PDF documents that I open with Nitro will not print properly on this printer. It prints large black blocks over the document. I am also networked with an Ecosys FS-4000DN laser printer. The same documents can be sent to this printer and they print perfectly. Also, I can open the same PDF document with Adobe and it prints fine on the HP. Evidently, there is a compatability issue between Nitro and the HP.

  Can you let me know what model your printer is and the printer driver version for that printer is?
  
  To find out the driver version, do the following:
  
  1. Right-click on My Computer /Computer
  2. Select Properties
  3. Click on Device Manager
  4. Find the printer in the list of devices then right-click > Properties
  5. Then click on the Driver tab

Hello,

I just tried your product (I currently use PDX Xchange) and while it looked fine the first printout I did was almost completely black (with just a small part which was fine) while the same document printed through PDF Xchange was OK (same system, same printer, same document). I can send you the document if you wish to troubleshoot this.

Same issue here,
Printing from latest version Nitro PDF reader to a HP laserjet CM1312nfi.
latest PCL6 driver.

Printing works fine with adobe reader 9.3 but with nitro pdf reader it only prints black pages.

this happens with different PDF docs,

I have the same issue too with HP CP1515n, connected via network. PDF's Print fine with Adobe and Foxit Reader. Every PDF I have tried with Nitro results in the same printing issue, but look great on screen.

  This has been resolved this. There was a problem with one of our servers where it wasn't responding with NItro tried to connect to it.

I'm using version 1.4.0.11 and I still see black boxes when printing to HP printers but not when printing to a Dell printer.

I downloaded 1.4.1.1 and it didn't resolve my issue. I am trying to print a document on a Xerox 7228 printer which is scanned on the same device. My OS is windows 7 Pro x64.

I am having this problem also. Someone showed me Nitro yesterday and I was thrilled about having a different option other than Adobe X. I downloaded today, and have been using this all day, BUT then I went to print, and I am having the same problems as everyone above.

Nitro / Windows 7, 64 bit

Printer - Toshiba e-Studio 500s
