PDFs open just fine in IE9, but there is no option to save. The only options I get are:
* Zoom In
* Zoom Out
* Print
* Email
* and the Nitro icon that taks you to Nitro Reader
There should be an additional option to simply Save to one's choice of location.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all your feedback, we do listen to you all.
I have now changed the status of this idea to 'Planned'. It will be available in Nitro Pro 7.4 and Nitro Reader 2.4, which will be released in Q2 this year.

I opted for not allowing Nitro to be my default PDF viewer but when I try to open PDF online files with my browser, I see Nitro controls. If I need to save the file, I have to go to Nitro to do so. Why?

The floating toolbar does not seem to have a save tool.

How do you save a PDF document from Internet Explorer 8?.-
For now, to save the PDF you must first open it in Nitro Reader then click Save.

Oh, really, I thought this was a bug.
Can't be a big deal to implement though. -

A user pointed out that when viewing a PDF file in a browser, the menu entries "Save as ..." is greyed out.
Even worse, if she tries to print it to the PDF printer to save it as a (new) PDF file that file is blank except for the bottom line with file info and page count!
Why is that? What to do?
I'm reluctant to fall back to install the bloated Adobe Reader.
OS: Win 7, 64-bit
Browser: IE9, 32-bit
Nitro Viewer: 2.1.0.11
Everything is fully updated.

I would like to suggest a save button (next to the other already present buttons) for the Nitro Reader / Nitro PDF browser plug-in. It isn;t convenient to be forced to open Nitro PDF to save a PDF.

To me, it seems the lack of a save option when you open a PDF in a web browser is a deal breaker. I'm uninstalling Nitro. 90% of the time when I find a pdf online, I save it. This is the software equivelent of a computer without a monitor.
